Process for Renal with Captopril

- You will need to be off of your blood pressure medicine for 48 hours
- Make sure your are well hydrated before scan
- Stick to a clear liquid diet 4 hours prior to exam
- We will need to start an IV
- You will be given captopril (BP medicine)
- You will be monitored for 1 hour
- The scan will last approximately 30min
